Day Pitney Serves as Lead Transaction and Energy Counsel to Constellation in its pending Acquisition of Rhode Island State Energy Center (RISEC) from Shell

Day Pitney is serving as lead transaction and energy counsel to Constellation (Nasdaq: CEG) in its pending $715 million acquisition of RISEC Holdings, LLC (RISEC), owner of the Rhode Island State Energy Center, from Shell Energy North America, (US), L.P. (SENA), a subsidiary of Shell plc (Shell).
 
The transaction is being led by Corporate/M&A Partners Brian Fischer and Patricia Durelli and Energy Partner Joseph Fagan, who are joined by a cross-practice, multi-office Day Pitney team that includes Partners Kritika Bharadwaj, Harold Blinderman, Gemma Cashman, Rachel Gonzalez, Valerie Green, Justin Hannan, Ryan Leichsenring, Thomas O’Mullane and William Roberts, and Associates Emily Byrnes, Margaret Czepiel, Joel Pruett, A.J. Santaniello and Sarah Thompson.
