"Special Needs Planning for Estate Planning Lawyers," Connecticut Bar Association

On July 16, Co-Chair of Day Pitney’s Special Needs Planning practice, Rebecca Iannantuoni led a webinar hosted by the Connecticut Bar Association titled “Special Needs Planning for Estate Planning Lawyers”.  This webinar offered estate planning attorneys a comprehensive overview of Special Needs Trusts, including understanding government benefits eligibility, and strategic planning approaches to support the lifelong financial and care needs of individuals with disabilities. Attendees gained insights into essential drafting guidance and highlighted the ethical challenges unique to this legal area.
