Sebastian Lombardi Recognized as a "New Leader in the Law" by Connecticut Law Tribune

Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that partner Sebastian M. Lombardi has been selected as a "New Leader in the Law" for the Connecticut Law Tribune's sixth annual Professional Excellence Awards. The awards honor "attorneys and judges who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in Connecticut."

The "New Leaders in the Law" category recognizes lawyers "who have excelled in the courtroom, in client service and cultivation, in service to bar associations and in performing pro bono work or community service in a volunteer capacity."

Lombardi is a partner in Day Pitney's Energy and Utilities practice group in the Hartford office. He assists energy clients with all aspects of transactional and regulatory matters associated with the regulated electricity markets, regularly helping his clients to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges confronting the energy and utility industries. In addition, he is a member of the team of lawyers serving as general counsel to the New England Power Pool (NEPOOL), a regional organization engaged in the wholesale markets for electrical power.

Sebastian takes an active role in mentoring and diversity efforts at Day Pitney, serving as Chair of the Firm's Attorney Retention & Development Committee.

The honorees will be featured in a special editorial section and at an awards reception in May at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT.
