Day Pitney Welcomes Ten New Associates for Fall 2018

Day Pitney LLP announced today that ten new associates are joining the firm this fall across its offices. The incoming associates are a diverse mix of attorneys with experience and insights gained through judicial clerkships, advanced law degrees or as summer associates, which will be of immediate value to the firm's clients.

The ten new associates are:

Matthew B. Danzer, Complex Commercial Litigation. Danzer most recently served as a law clerk to The Honorable Gerard E. Lynch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York, NY. Prior, he was an associate with Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. from Cornell University. He will be resident in the firm's Stamford office.

Nicholas M. Lombard, Complex Commercial Litigation. Lombard was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2015. He most recently served as a law clerk to The Honorable Jeffrey A. Meyer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in Bridgeport, CT. Prior, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable Justice Dennis G. Eveleigh (Ret.) of the Connecticut Supreme Court. He received his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and his B.A. from Chaminade University. He will be resident in the firm's Stamford office.

Dennis A. Massimi, Real Estate and Land Use. Massimi was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017. He received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego. He will be resident in the firm's Stamford office.

Brandon McCool, Intellectual Property. McCool was an extern with Day Pitney during his Spring 2018 semester and received his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and his B.A. from McGill University. He will be resident in the firm's Boston office.

Joseph T. Nawrocki, Insurance and Reinsurance. Nawrocki most recently served as a law clerk to The Honorable José A. Cabranes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New Haven, CT. Prior, he was an associate with BakerHostetler LLP in Washington, D.C. He received his J.D. from Yale Law School; his M.A. degrees from the University of Notre Dame; and his B.A., magna cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross. He will be resident in the firm's Hartford office.

Philip F. Pacelli, Intellectual Property. Pacelli received his LL.M. in Intellectual Property (IP) Law from Cardozo School of Law, his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Connecticut College. He will be resident in the firm's Stamford office.

Alyssa L. Paddock, Private Equity and Finance. Paddock was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017. She received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.S. from Nyack College. She will be resident in the firm's Stamford office.

Ignacio Riesco, ERISA, Executive Compensation and Tax. Riesco received his LL.M. in Tax Law from New York University School of Law; his J.D. from the University of California Davis School of Law; and his A.L.B., cum laude, from Harvard University. He will be resident in the firm's New Haven office.

Julia M. Sorensen, Complex Tort Litigation. Sorenson was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2016 and most recently served as a law clerk to The Honorable Gregory T. D'Auria of the Connecticut Supreme Court. She received her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Central Connecticut State University. She will be resident in the firm's Hartford office.

Anthony M. Wildasin, Public Securities. Wildasin was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017. He received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.S., summa cum laude, from Drexel University. He will be resident in the firm's Parsippany, New Jersey office.
