Lawdragon Recognizes Elizabeth A. Alquist Among America's Leading Litigators

For the second consecutive year, Day Pitney Intellectual Property Litigation Partner Elizabeth A. (Beth) Alquist has been named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America list. The 2027 recognition reflects Alquist’s proven record in high-stakes litigation, leadership in the legal profession, and steadfast commitment to guiding clients through their most consequential challenges.

Alquist has built a national practice representing leading companies in business-critical disputes involving global brands, emerging technologies, and complex intellectual property portfolios. A Hartford-based intellectual property trial lawyer with more than three decades of experience, she handles patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, noncompetition, technology, and commercial matters in federal and state courts and before the International Trade Commission (ITC), Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). She has tried more than 20 cases to verdict or judgment.

Her influence at Day Pitney extends well beyond the courtroom. As a member of the firm’s three-member Executive Committee, Alquist helps guide its strategy, operations, and long-term growth. She previously served as chair of the Litigation Department, Intellectual Property Practice Group, and Organization, Inclusion and Engagement Committee, and is co-founder and past chair of Women Working Together (WWT®). Through these roles, she has remained committed to mentoring the next generation of attorneys and advancing women in the legal profession.

Alquist has earned sustained recognition for her litigation accomplishments, leadership, and service to the legal profession.
