Garden State Bar Association's 5th Annual Labor and Employment Symposium

Day Pitney will host Garden State Bar Association's (GSBA) fifth annual Labor and Employment Symposium on Thursday, November 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the firm's New Jersey office. The symposium will offer CLE credits.

The event will begin with a networking gathering, where refreshments and cocktails will be provided, followed by two panel discussions. The first panel will discuss updates on labor and employment laws impacting diverse workplaces in New Jersey. Day Pitney associate and GSBA Labor and Employment Section co-chairperson, Daniel Pierre, will moderate a panel of employment litigators, including Day Pitney associate Trisha Efiom. The panelists of the second panel will discuss their non-law firm career trajectories and DEI in the legal profession, which includes insight from former Connecticut Supreme Court Chief Justice Ric Robinson.

The GSBA is the oldest and largest professional organization for African American attorneys, judges, and law students in New Jersey. Click here for more information or to register for the event.
