"Intro to Gift Tax Return Preparation," Connecticut Bar Association Estates and Probate Section
On Thursday, September 26 Stamford Private Client Partner Katie McAllister spoke on a lunch & learn program to nearly 100 registrants on how to prepare gift tax returns for clients and what transactions should be reported on them.
Her presentation also included common mistakes that are made when preparing these returns along with an overview of the 2024 federal and state gift tax landscape and how to report generation-skipping transfers (GST).
