Parade of Corporate Horribles 2022: Ethically Investigating Problems Around Every Corner

On September 28, lawyers from the Day Pitney White Collar Defense and Litigation teams will be presenting the "Parade of Corporate Horribles 2022: Ethically Investigating Problems Around Every Corner," at PepsiCo, Inc. The presentation is in conjunction with the Westchester and Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. The panel will present an evolving hypothetical situation in which in-house counsel confront a series of problems including: corruption issues; sanctions and export controls questions; False Claims Act issues; financial reporting and related SEC and civil concerns; all with an exploration of privilege, conflicts and other ethics implications.

Christopher Droney, a Day Pitney partner and former Senior Judge, Second Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Attorney for Connecticut, will moderate panel. The panelists include: Helen Harris, Partner and Head of Day Pitney's Government, Real Estate and Commercial Litigation group; Sarah Krissoff, former Southern District Assistant U.S. Attorney and Partner at Day Pitney; John Vukelj, Partner in Day Pitney's Government, Real Estate and Commercial Litigation group; and Steven Cash, former Staff Director to the U.S. House Select Committee on Homeland Security and Counsel to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and Counsel at Day Pitney. Day Pitney will be very pleased to welcome guest panelists who will be joining the discussion from leading financial, technology and energy companies.
