Based in Miami, Delgado advises clients on a broad range of business and legal matters at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and media. He leads complex, content-driven transactions, structuring and negotiating major sports rights deals, talent agreements, content acquisitions, and production arrangements across scripted and unscripted programming. He also counsels studios, networks, producers, digital platforms, and investors on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, family office investments, and international distribution strategies.

As co-chair of Day Pitney’s Sports, Media & Entertainment Practice, Delgado focuses on transactions at the commercial core of the industry, guiding clients through the ownership, financing, production, and global distribution of content in highly competitive markets. A seasoned executive, he has led business and legal affairs teams and overseen high-profile negotiations involving content licensing, advertising partnerships, talent management, and related strategic initiatives.

Delgado is an active member of the Florida Bar and has been a member of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law section since 1999, joining its Executive Board in 2021. He earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and B.S. from the University of Florida. Delgado is admitted to practice in Florida.
