Based in Hartford, Alquist is a nationally recognized trial lawyer who represents leading businesses in complex intellectual property and technology-related disputes. Her practice spans patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, noncompetition, and commercial matters litigated in federal and state courts, as well as before the International Trade Commission (ITC), Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). She has tried more than 20 cases to verdict and judgment in Connecticut and Massachusetts federal and state courts.
Throughout her career, Alquist has held key leadership roles at the firm, including Chair of the Litigation department, Chair of the Intellectual Property practice group, and Chair of the firmwide women’s initiative, Women Working Together (WWT®). Currently, she serves on the firm’s three-member Executive Committee, where she helps drive strategic direction, oversee firm management, and guide long-term growth initiatives.
Alquist’s professional excellence and leadership have been widely recognized. She is a recipient of the Connecticut Bar Association’s prestigious Ladder Award (click here for the Connecticut Bar Association’s methodology) and was named one of the Top 25 Women in Business by the Hartford Business Journal (click here for the Hartford Business Journal methodology).
