Day Pitney's Amanda G. Gomez Named Finalist for Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Model Star Award
Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that Amanda G. Gomez, an associate in the firm’s Miami office, was named a finalist for the Model Star Award, one of the honors presented as part of the 2025 Rising Star Awards by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. Her achievements were recognized at the Rising Star Awards Summer Social held on August 6 in Miami.
Established in 2007, the Rising Star Awards honor outstanding young professionals under the age of 40 who exemplify leadership, career excellence, and a strong commitment to community service. The Model Star Award recognizes individuals who are deeply engaged in their communities through volunteer work with nonprofit organizations or participation in local fundraising efforts. To be eligible, finalists must either be members of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce or live or work in the City of Coral Gables. At Day Pitney, Gomez represents clients in a wide range of commercial and residential real estate transactions across Florida. Her practice includes advising on the structuring, acquisition, financing, leasing, development, and sale of real estate assets. She regularly oversees transactions from the initial drafting and negotiation stages through to closing, and she has experience representing bank and non-bank lenders, developers, and borrowers in complex real estate financing matters.
In addition to her legal practice, Gomez is deeply engaged in the South Florida legal and business communities. She serves as a coach for the St. Thomas University College of Law Trial Team, contributes as a member of the Young Lawyers Committee for Region VIII (Miami) of the Hispanic National Bar Association, and is an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Miami, where she serves on both the Signature Events and Marketing Committees.
Gomez earned her J.D., cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law and holds a B.S. from Florida State University. She is admitted to practice in Florida.
