Day Pitney Wins MDFAWL Large Law Firm Champion of Women Award

Day Pitney LLP is proud to be the recipient of the 2026 Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (MDFAWL) Large Law Firm Champion of Women Award. The firm was celebrated at the MDFAWL 46th Annual Installation & Awards Reception held at the Perez Art Museum Miami on May 20.

The awards are a recognition of a law firm with at least one office in Miami-Dade County that has championed the advancement of women in the legal profession. The MDFAWL Board of Directors considers actions taken by the nominated firms' Miami-Dade County office(s) in the following areas: hiring and retaining women; implementing general employment practices and procedures that increase or enhance the representation of women in leadership positions in the legal profession; promoting women to equity partnership and positions in firm leadership; and implementing firm policies that are intended to retain and promote women. Day Pitney was recognized in the large law firm category (50+ attorneys).
