Day Pitney Awarded Live Out Loud Corporate Excellence Award

Day Pitney LLP is proud to announce that it has been honored with the Corporate Excellence Award by Live Out Loud at the organization’s milestone 25th Anniversary Gala, held on May 18 in New York City. The award recognizes leading corporate partners that demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing LGBTQAI+ inclusion and supporting the next generation of leaders.

Byrne, Managing Partner of Day Pitney. “This honor reflects the strength of our partnership and our shared commitment to supporting LGBTQAI+ youth, expanding opportunity, and fostering a more inclusive future.”

Byrne attended the gala, where he accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

This recognition reflects Day Pitney’s ongoing commitment to advancing inclusion. Through its Day Pitney Alliance, the firm’s internal initiative dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging for all employees, the firm has collaborated with Live Out Loud on a range of initiatives, including employee resource group roundtables, mentorship engagement, and scholarship support programs designed to empower and uplift LGBTQAI+ students. Damian Privitera, counsel in the firm’s Hartford office, serves on the Board of Live Out Loud.

As part of its continued support, Day Pitney made a $10,000 donation to support Live Out Loud’s impactful work.

The Live Out Loud Gala is the organization’s signature annual event, bringing together more than 400 donors, corporate partners, advocates, and scholarship recipients for an evening celebrating impact and visibility. Each year, Live Out Loud awards $5,000 scholarships to LGBTQ+ high school students, supporting their journey to college and future success.
