Overview

David Mathus is a legal advisor and corporate attorney with over 25 years of experience representing major investment banks, public and private companies, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. He has extensive experience advising clients on corporate, securities, M&A, commercial, contract, licensing, and regulatory matters, as well as commercial disputes and related investigations. His experience also includes energy project investments, joint ventures and technology development agreements.

Mr. Mathus was most recently the CEO of PredictIntel LLC, a business and legal intelligence company that developed a forward-looking business intelligence platform tracking corporate and government projects, plans, commitments, and regulatory deadlines. Until 2020, he was a partner and Co-Head of the New York Corporate and Transactions Group at McDermott Will & Emery LLP.

Beyond his corporate practice, Mr. Mathus has advised numerous non-profit organizations and remains actively involved in civic and educational initiatives. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Salisbury School and is a member of the National Civics Council of the Jack Miller Center, which promotes the teaching of civics in America’s schools and colleges. In New York City, he serves on the Public Affairs Committee of The Union League Club, where he was President from 2013 to 2015 and served as Chair of its Strategic Planning Committee.
